Join me to slow down the pace and practise drawing in this friendly, relaxed session for adults, with no previous drawing experience or confidence required.
"Suzanne is so easy-going and welcoming; you never feel like you need lots of skill to join in. She guides you gently, there's no pressure, and the whole experience is incredibly relaxing." – Lou, adult art workshop guest
Working from real life, you will learn about graphite pencil grading and explore form, shade, shadow and texture to create your own observational studies.
I will guide you in a gentle and supportive style through warm-up activities, technique demos and low-stakes practice to build your confidence in having a go at drawing.
As a professional illustrator and teacher with 15 years of experience working in an outstanding primary school, my workshops are designed to inspire creativity, increase confidence and develop art skills in a fun and supportive environment!
Especially suitable for absolute beginners or those who haven't practised for a while. All materials and tools are provided, as well as hot drinks and biscuits.
