Join me for art exploration in a relaxed and supportive setting!
This session focuses on exploring drawing techniques using pencil and pen. I'll provide a range of interesting natural and human-made objects to use as references, and I'll be on hand with tips and techniques as there'll be lighthearted drawing games along the way.
As children progress through school, they often become self-conscious or even anxious about drawing. I'm on a mission to counter this with fun, inclusive and low-stakes art workshops. My ethos centres around championing drawing as something that everyone can access, as a thinking tool, for creative expression, to develop motor skills and most importantly, for the pure enjoyment of it!
As a professional illustrator and qualified primary teacher with 15 years of experience working in an Outstanding junior school, my children's workshops are designed to inspire creativity, increase confidence and develop art skills in a fun and supportive environment.
No previous art experience required. All materials and tools are provided as well as juice and biscuits.
